Privacy Policy
Effective date: October 22, 2026
This Privacy Policy explains how Fort Lauderdale Seawall Repair ("we", "us"), operator of ftlseawallrepair.com, collects, uses and shares information when you visit our website, call or text us, or submit a quote request. We are based in Broward County, Florida.
Information we collect
- Information you give us: your name, phone number, property address or town, email address (optional), the service you need, your message, and any photos you upload.
- Phone and text information: when you call or text our number, our phone service provider records the calling number, date, time and duration of the call, and the content of text messages. If we ever record calls, we will tell you at the start of the call.
- Technical information: our web host may log standard information such as IP address, browser type and pages requested, for security and to keep the site running. We do not use advertising cookies.
- Analytics: we use Google Analytics to understand how visitors use the site, such as which pages are viewed, whether the call button or quote form is used, and general device and approximate location information. Google Analytics sets cookies in your browser and Google processes this data on our behalf under Google's privacy policy. We do not send your name, phone number, email or message to Google Analytics. You can block these cookies in your browser settings or use the Google Analytics opt-out browser add-on.
- Maps: the Google map on some pages loads only if you click "Show Google map". Google then receives your request under Google's privacy policy.
How we use information
- To respond to your request and contact you about it by phone, text (if you agreed) or email
- To connect you with a licensed local contractor who can inspect your property and give you a quote
- To follow up on whether you were helped, and to improve our service
- To keep records, prevent fraud and spam, and comply with the law
How we share information
We share your request details (name, phone, email, property location, service needed, message and photos) with a licensed local contractor only so they can contact you and prepare the quote you asked for. We also use service providers that help us run the business, such as our website host, form processor, email provider and phone and SMS provider. They may use your information only to provide those services to us.
We may disclose information if required by law, to protect our rights or safety, or as part of a sale or transfer of the business.
We do not sell your personal information.
Phone numbers, text messages and SMS consent
No mobile information will be shared with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes. All of the categories of sharing described above exclude text messaging originator opt-in data and consent. Text messaging originator opt-in data and consent will not be shared with any third parties.
- We send text messages only if you opt in, for example by checking the optional SMS box on our quote form or texting us first. Messages are quote follow-ups and appointment coordination about your seawall request. We do not send marketing texts.
- Message frequency varies. Message and data rates may apply.
- Reply STOP to any message to opt out at any time. Reply HELP for help, or contact us at (754) 484-1777 or ftlseawallrepair@gmail.com.
- Consent to texts is not a condition of using our service.
- Carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages.
How long we keep information
We keep request details for as long as needed to handle your request and for our ordinary business records, generally no more than three years, unless the law requires longer. Photos you upload are kept only as long as needed for your request.
Your choices and rights
- You can ask us to access, correct or delete the information we hold about you by contacting us.
- You can opt out of texts by replying STOP, and out of calls or emails by telling us.
- If a contractor we matched you with has your details, they handle them under their own privacy practices. Contact them directly, or ask us and we will pass on your request.
Security
We use reasonable measures to protect your information. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure.
Children
Our service is for adults and property owners. We do not knowingly collect information from children under 13.
